Rock Icon Grace Slick Announces Her Support For Protest Against Guitar Center And KMC Music
Anaheim, CA (Top40 Charts/ Premazon) Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane) announced her support today for independent musicians Michelle Mangione and Steve Soest's in their protest against Guitar Center and KMC Music/Gibraltar Hardware.



Michelle Mangione and Steve Soest, launched a protest against Guitar Center and KMC Music at the 2014 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show On Wednesday.

"Even though we supposedly live in a democracy, corporate money always seems to win," Slick said. "Are we going to let that happen one more time?"

Mangione and Soest will continue their protest at the NAMM on Saturday. Many music industry leaders and hall of fame musicians have lent their support for the protest.

Grace Slick was a contributor to Michelle's song "What is a Saint."
