Celine Dion Makes Incredible Debut As 'Loved Me Back To Life' Tops Charts Across The Globe
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Columbia Records) Loved Me Back To Life, the critically acclaimed new album from multi-platinum-selling and five-time Grammy Award-winning musical legend Celine Dion, has made an impressive debut across the globe. Highlighted by the pulsating, upbeat lead single "Loved Me Back To Life" as well as duets with music superstars Ne-Yo ("Incredible") and Stevie Wonder ("Overjoyed"), the album - Celine's first English-language album in six years - ranks #1 on Nielsen's SoundScan in Canada and #2 on this week's Billboard 200 in the U.S.

This fantastic North American debut comes alongside much international success. Loved Me Back To Life soared to #1 on iTunes in 44 countries including Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Finland, Luxembourg, Poland, and South Africa, and reached Top 5 in an additional 42 countries including Canada, France, Germany, U.K., Sweden, Brazil, The Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Czech Republic, and Denmark. The album enters the charts in the Top 5 throughout several international territories, including France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Middle East, and Holland, where the album's #1 ranking is Celine's first chart-topping debut in more than a decade.

Celine is currently in Europe, where this past week the singer performed "Loved Me Back To Life" on X Factor in the U.K. and Wetten, Dass…? in Germany. In France, Celine will perform on five nationally televised specials airing through the holidays. Celine will also perform on Strictly Come Dancing in the U.K. on December 14.

Praised for her incredible, one-of-a-kind vocal ability, critics are raving about Celine and Loved Me Back To Life. "She is the iceberg, destroying all Titanics," exclaims The New York Times. Billboard suggests that the album "features some of her most vocally challenging and artistically rewarding performances yet," while USA Today says the singer is "still at her best." The New York Post declares that "Dion has returned with a record that's easily her edgiest," while PEOPLE simply shouts, "She's back!"

Just yesterday, Celine announced the addition of 35 summer 2014 performances of her critically-acclaimed residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The summer performances scheduled from June 10 to August 31 go on sale beginning Friday, November 15 at 10 a.m. PST. and may be purchased by calling 877.4CELINE or 888.9.AXS.TIX, online at www.axs.com www.thecolosseum.com or www.celineinvegas.com or in person at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Box Office open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Having sold more than 220 million albums around the world, Celine Dion is one of the most immediately recognized, widely respected and successful performers in pop music history. In addition to numerous U.S. and international gold, platinum and multi-platinum certifications, Celine Dion has seen two of her albums—Falling Into You and Let's Talk About Love—each achieve RIAA Diamond status in recognition of sales of more than 10 million copies in the U.S. alone (each selling more than 30 million worldwide). She has been awarded five Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "My Heart Will Go On" in 1998, Album of the Year and Best Pop Album for Falling Into You in 1996, and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for "Beauty and the Beast" in 1992. Both "My Heart Will Go On" and "Beauty and the Beast" received Best Song Academy Awards for their respective years of release.

In December of 2007, Celine concluded an unprecedented concert engagement in Las Vegas—five consecutive years of sold-out shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a $100 million venue built exclusively for her performances. This historic, original show, entitled "A New Day...", was one of the highest grossing concerts in music history, selling more than 3 million tickets in its run and helping make Celine the highest-grossing touring artist in the world from 2000 to 2010. In 2011, Celine returned to The Colosseum with a brand-new critically-acclaimed show, simply entitled "Celine," playing to sold-out audiences since opening night. This spectacular show, which will continue for several years to come, features Celine's greatest hits, some surprising covers, and a few songs featured on Loved Me Back To Life, including the title track.
