Karmin are back with their new single "Acapella." The song, which features powerhouse vocals from rapping front woman Amy Heidemann with her partner Nick Noonan providing the booming bass line, is available now through all digital retailers. "
Acapella" follows on Karmin's two previous singles "
Hello" and "Brokenhearted," both of which climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart. The double-platinum selling "
Brokenhearted" was also a Top 10 hit on the Pop Songs chart and a Top 20 hit on the Hot 100, while the video racked up more than half a billion views on YouTube.
The track is currently part of a Popdust Pop-Off. Voting runs through August 3d - https://popdust.com/pop-off/
Karmin will release their debut full length studio album Pulses this September. "We want to call it Pulses because it's kind of like the honeymoon is over now," Noonan explained to Rolling Stone earlier this month. "There's good and bad. It's not necessarily everything is happy-go-lucky tracks. There's also some serious stuff. There's definitely a lot more depth in it, which is something we've always felt we wanted to do."
Karmin are currently on tour with The
Jonas Brothers after performing at several major Gay Pride festivals during the month of June. See below for full tour dates.
