NASHVILLE, TN. (Brad Pailsey Official Website) - Accelerating into the Top 5 this week, one of country radio's hottest singles continues to be the powerfully compelling Brad Paisley/Alison Krauss duet, "Whiskey Lullaby." And with a new video (which debuted June 30) airing in Hotshot rotation on CMT - Country Music Television, the song is now reaching an even broader audience. With actor/director Rick Schroder (NYPD Blue) lending his Hollywood expertise as the video's guest star and director, Entertainment Tonight will be casting a spotlight on the video during an interview with Schroder (set to air July 19) that will feature footage and b-roll from "Whiskey Lullaby."

Prior to "Whiskey Lullaby," Paisley's most recent video to air on CMT was another special duet performance - this one with pop hitmaker John Mayer - on Mayer's "Why Georgia." The video, which also aired on CMT sister network VH1, was shot when Paisley and Mayer joined forces earlier this year for an episode of the acclaimed series, CMT Crossroads. The inspired pairing of Paisley and Mayer proved a major hit, garnering media attention from no less than Rolling Stone, and scoring big with the CMT audience, ranking as the series' highest rated episode among viewers 18-24.
"Whiskey Lullaby," from Paisley's Arista Nashville collection, Mud on the Tires, advances this week to No 3 in R&R and No 4 in Billboard.
Now in its 50th week on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, Paisley's Mud on the Tires debuted at No 1 and has since returned to the Top 5, perched at No 5 for the past two weeks.
