LOS ANGELES (Los Angeles Dodgers) - The Los Angeles Dodgers will once again celebrate the city's rich Latino heritage as they host the Seventh Annual Viva Los Dodgers music festival prior to the 7:10 p.m. game against the San Diego Padres on Saturday, July 24 at Dodger Stadium.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, July 25th, Viva Los Dodgers was changed to Saturday, July 24th. Presented by the Toyota Dealers of Southern California, Coca-Cola, and Kraft, Viva Los Dodgers will take place in parking lot 38, just beyond the right field pavilion, from 12 noon to 6:30 p.m. Any fan with a ticket for the Dodgers vs. Padres game at 7:10 p.m., or future Dodger game, can gain admission to the festival.
For the first time in the history of this event, a Dodger player will step off the field and onto the stage performing live for event attendees. JOSE LIMA and his tropical group, BANDA MAMBO, will make their Los Angeles debut during the Viva Los Dodgers festival at 2:00 p.m. with their original salsa, merengue and cumbia sounds.

FERNANDO VALENZUELA will join Hall of Fame broadcaster JAIME JARRIN and PEPE YNIGUEZ on-stage to welcome the Latino Community to this marquee event. This 7th annual event features a star-studded line up of internationally recognized Latin Billboard Chart topping performers. CRISTIAN CASTRO (2002 Billboard Latin Music "Hot Latin Track Artist of the Year," 2002 Winner of three Premios Lo Nuestro Awards, including "Male Artist of the Year"), JENNIFER PENA (Current #1 Latin Billboard single "Vivo Y Muero En Tu Piel" and 2003 Billboard Latin Music "Best Female Regional Mexican Album of the Year" Award), ALICIA VILLAREAL (Current No 4 Latin Billboard single "Soy Tu Mujer"), ANA BARBARA ("The Queen of Grupera Music"), CHARLIE ZAA, K-PAZ DE LA SIERRA, LOS ASTROS DE DURANGO, HUMBERTO HERRERA, MARIACHI SOL DE MEXICO DE JOSE HERNANDEZ (The nation's premier mariachi group whose performances include Vina del Mar in Santiago, Chile, the Hollywood Bowl and the 86th Academy Awards), FOLEN and others are scheduled to perform.
These artists have enjoyed successful recording careers and are the hottest talent in the market today.

Dodger fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from some of their favorite Dodger players, coaches and announcers at the autograph booth. Additionally, fans of performing artists will have the opportunity to meet some of the performers, take pictures and get autographs at the Wherehouse Music booth. The interactive area will feature memorabilia, batting and pitching cages, video games, prizes, and face painters and other family fun such as Dodger Blue on Wheels.

Festival-goers can also put on their dancing shoes, as live DJs from Studio G, play the hottest dance music throughout the day while also hosting a dance contest for a trip for two to Las Vegas.
