Michelle Branch To Release Brand-new Single 'Loud Music,' To Itunes On June 14, 2011
BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Reprise Records) Multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Michelle Branch will return with her first full-length solo album in eight years with West Coast Time, which will be released by Reprise Records in September. The first single, "Loud Music," already shipped to Hot AC Radio, will be available on iTunes June 14th.

Having already experienced success in a variety of formats over the course of a decade as a recording artist, Branch makes a return to her pop roots with "Loud Music." The 27-year-old Arizona native launched her career in 2001 with her debut album The Spirit Room, which went multi-platinum and produced three substantial hit singles: "Everywhere," "All You Wanted," and "Goodbye to You." Branch's reputation as a young musical artist with grown-up talent was further solidified in 2002 when she teamed up with Santana to record "The Game of Love," which became an international smash and won a Grammy Award for "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals."

In 2003, Branch released the platinum-selling Hotel Paper, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard chart and spawned the Grammy-nominated hit single "Are You Happy Now?" After winding down from a headlining world tour supporting Hotel Paper, Branch took some time off to get married and give birth to her first child. She then formed country-pop duo The Wreckers with friend Jessica Harp and enjoyed her first country smash with 2006's gold album Stand Still, Look Pretty - a collaboration that was nominated for three ACM awards, a CMA award, and a Grammy. The popularity of The Wreckers helped establish Branch as a fixture on country radio, thanks to such winning country tracks as the No. 1 smash "Leave The Pieces" and the Top Ten hit "My, Oh My."

"I'm so excited about this new record," says Branch. "I can't wait for my fans to hear my new stuff. Having worked primarily with acoustic instrumentation on my last record, I really wanted to play around with new sounds, synthesizers and programming. It's going to be a blast to play live."

On July 7th, Branch will hit the road with The Goo Goo Dolls for a summer-long tour. Please see below for all dates.
