Session drummer Brian McRae and Producer/Mixer Greg McRae (Flobots, Rose Hill Drive) set out to write music inspired by Stone Temple Pilots,
Foo Fighters and Porcupine tree. Brian met power pop Songwriter/Producer John Fishell in Denver in 2005. John also comes from a music production background, recording jazz artists such as
David Liebman, Joe Lovano, and Mike Stern, as well 2010 Feature Film My Name is Jerry.They instantly hit it off and played a few concerts together and worked on John's solo album. As time passed they knew that a great collaboration was in the making. Add to the Mix European Producer/Mixer/Songwriter Filippo Gaetani from Tuscanny/Vienna and Colorado staple session guitarist/songwriter Eben
Grace to the mix and you have a transatlantic supergroup.
The first single Pushing and Pulling features the band recording from their studios across the U.S. and across the Atlantic. Greg and Brian wrote the music and sent it over to John who crafted up fine lyrics and great melodies. Off To Vienna for bass and over to Eben for guitar solos. The mixing and mastering was a collaborative effort as well as each member has a vast knowledge of production techniques.
Wreckingroom releases Pushing and Pulling on Tuesday January 4th on Itunes etc.
