New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Universal Motown Records) - It's sort of ironic that Vita Chambers has a cover of Lady Gaga's 'Speechless' on her YouTube channel. Wide-eyed and electric-haired, it seems impossible that the pop rocker has ever lacked for words a single day in all of her 17 years. As a matter of fact, Vita has already outgrown existing phrases and has moved onto coining her own. And that, as she says in her new single, is 'Like Boom!'

Also 'Like Boom?' Vita's meteoric climb to the hottest stages of the summer. Not only is she appearing on a slew of Bamboozle Road Show and Lilith Fair dates, but she has just learned that she'll spend the rest of the season opening for Justin Bieber!

'Everything you like is 'Like Boom',' Vita recently told AOL's PopEater.com. 'The person you're crushing on, a new pair of jeans, a sick song, etc. It's my crazy collection of things that I think are 'Like Boom.''

There's a lot of reference to Vita being 'borderless.' Visually, she's equal parts vintage Jimi Hendrix t-shirt, Missoni Converse sneakers and hot pink patent leather pumps. Vocally, the 17-year-old wunderkind has a stylistic range that finds her equally comfortable covering Lady Gaga and Pink to Adam Lambert and Rihanna (peep her YouTube videos!). Lyrically, she runs through the gamut of pop culture phenoms - from Wolverine and James Dean, to Lil Wayne and Drake. Vita's debut EP, The Get Go (out now on SRP/Universal Motown) is a sonic culmination of all of these influences.

Vita Chambers plotted her own discovery using the 'borderless' World Wide Web. She set up a MySpace page and posted a video and three audio streams of songs she co-wrote and recorded in Barbados. 'Then a week later, I got a phone call from Evan Rogers saying, 'I'd like to meet you,'' she told Seventeen.com. 'And I was like, 'Oh my goodness this is amazing!' because he discovered Rihanna!' Shortly thereafter, she linked up with Universal Motown Records. With that power behind her, the whirlwind began and Vita quickly found herself in the enviable position of performing at everything from the NFL Superbowl halftime show, to the Soul Train Awards, to Pop-Con.
