LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ MOENIA Official Website) - With an extraordinary career that spans almost two decades, MOENIA continues to ratify its position as the most important electronic pop band in Spanish pop, kick starting the year with a series of electrifying concerts in Chicago, Los Angeles and Texas in support of the band's new album titled "En Electrico."

MOENIA debuts its first single titled "No Importa Que El Sol Muera," off the new album "En Electrico," a duet with Maria Jose (former member of the popular Mexican pop group Kabah) and a song in which the unique styles of two distinct and well-known personalities merge together resulting in a familiar sound of appeal to mass audiences.

"En Electrico" is released on OCESA-Sei Track (Mexico) and produced by Latin GRAMMY award winner Armando Avila, who is recognized for his work with the leading contemporary Latin music artists such as La 5a Estacion, Aleks Syntek, RBD, and Moderatto, to mention only a few. This album features a collection of new versions of MOENIA's greatest hits and special collaborations by Maria Jose, Juan Carlos Lozano and Paco Huidobro. It also includes a DVD showcasing one of the bands most memorable concerts.

"We included new versions of each one of our songs, a little more 'raw,' with lots of synth, but all recorded live, or programmed live, very different from a studio album, in where you have many sequences and other things throughout," says Alfonso Pichardo. The album is available now in stores in the United States and for digital download on iTunes.

MOENIA will bring its unique electronic/pop style to the following cities: April 1st at V-Line (Chicago), April 3 (Padre Island, TX), and April 6 at House of Blues (L.A.) where fans are sure to welcome the band with open arms as always, and ready to dance the night away.

"En Electrico" marks the band's triumphal return, after a brief hiatus during which members took time to concentrate on individual projects.

While in Mexico, the band is preparing to present a big show this coming March 25th at the Auditorio Nacional (National Auditorium), which will surely be one of the best musical experiences of all times.

MOENIA is composed of Alfonso Pichardo (vocal), Alejandro Ortega Midi (synth) and Jorge Soto (organ).
