New York (Top40 Charts/ Baker & Taylor) - Baker & Taylor, Inc., the world's largest distributor of physical and digital books and entertainment products, is proud to offer the completely remastered Beatles catalog along with dozens of books commemorating the Fab Four's contribution to music.

"The Beatles told us great stories that are as alive and compelling today as they were in the '60s. They created a generation of devoted fans, whose kids and grandkids are now discovering how fantastic their work is," said David Cully, President of Retail Markets and Executive Vice President of Merchandising at Baker & Taylor. "We are proud to offer our customers the brilliance of The Beatles in a variety of new formats."

The world is poised for a 21st century bout of Beatlemania coinciding with the Sept. 9 release of the digitally remastered Beatles catalog. EMI Music is re-releasing the Beatles' 13 original albums and the previously released Past Masters album. It will be the first time that the first four Beatles albums will be available in stereo in their entirety on CD. The CD box set also includes a bonus DVD documentary.

Baker & Taylor's Beatles inventory - nearly $1 million worth - boasts more than 100 book titles, including John Lennon: The Life, which HarperCollins is publishing next month, and The Beatles: On Camera, Off Guard 1963-69, which promises more than 200 never-before-seen images of the band.

"The Beatles changed the way we listen to music. People began buying albums and formed attachment to artists that previously had happened only with Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra," said Len Cosimano, Senior Vice President, Entertainment Merchandising. "Baker & Taylor is excited to offer robust Beatles inventory, because, after all we are passionate about music, books and video."
