WASHINGTON, DC. (Top40 Charts/ Moodswing360) - Fresh-off MADONNA's "Sticky & Sweet" World Tour, D.C.'s DJ ENFERNO returns Stateside to spin a hotly anticipated New Year's Eve show in Baltimore, Maryland, at newly opened nightclub and restaurant, LUX BALTIMORE, on December 31st, 2008.

"Touring and performing with MADONNA has been the experience of a lifetime! There were many days where I would be spinning solo as the opening act for the concert, perform during the concert itself, then DJ a club set right after the show. There were some shows where I'd look out at literally 70,000 screaming fans and realize how lucky I was to be a part of this whole experience," says ENFERNO while on the verge of completing the 59-show world tour. While on Sticky & Sweet, ENFERNO's club tour included sets in Rome, New York City, Miami, Atlantic City, and Las Vegas. The December 31st show at LUX BALTIMORE will mark ENFERNO's full-time return to his solo career.

Winner of the DMC U.S. title and runner-up in the DMC World Finals in 2003, ENFERNO (aka ERIC JAO) uses his championship turntablist skills to rock the party as a DJ. With over 17 years of experience under his belt, ENFERNO is constantly pushing himself harder and farther as an artist. In 2006 at WMC in Miami, ENFERNO unveiled his new take on the DJ performance by incorporating turntablism with on-the-fly music production in what became known as the "Live Remix Project." That year, REMIX MAGAZINE dubbed ENFERNO a "DJ innovator." ENFERNO has since been featured on the cover of DJ TIMES MAGAZINE and in an hour-long appearance on bpm:tv's "bpm:tv Presents" program in Canada.

ENFERNO enters 2009 with a slew of DJ dates including: a return to BLUE MARTINI (1/12/2009) in Orlando, Florida; SHRINE at the MGM GRAND (1/24/2009) at Foxwoods, Connecticut; and MUR.MUR at THE BORGATA in Atlantic City, New Jersey. LUX BALTIMORE is located at 10 South Calvert Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21202; call (410) 528-8994 or visit www.myspace.com/luxbaltimore. ENFERNO is represented exclusively by JOHNNY MARONEY of Moodswing360. DJ ENFERNO Scores the Cover of DJ Times Magazine (December, 2008 Issue)

After performing 59 dates with MADONNA as the DJ and band member on her "Sticky & Sweet" World Tour, Washington D.C.'s DJ ENFERNO returns Stateside and celebrates his cover of DJ Times Magazine (December 2008 issue).

"It's definitely been a great year for me. Who would've thought that after 17 years of deejaying, I'd end up touring with MADONNA and getting on the cover of DJ Times! Now that the tour is at an end, I'm excited about getting back to the clubs, studio, and of course, the Live Remix Project," says ENFERNO. The Live Remix Project (LRP) is ENFERNO's live performance act combining turntablism with sampling, keyboard playing, and effects to create music in a live setting.

An all-encompassing zeal for music is what drives ENFERNO (aka ERIC JAO). As a club DJ, ENFERNO electrifies crowds with his finely honed programming and quick-cutting skills. His residencies include Mur.Mur at The Borgata in Atlantic City and Shrine at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

In 2003, ENFERNO won the DMC U.S. Finals and placed runner-up in the DMC World Finals. Today when ENFERNO steps into the DJ booth, there's no mistaking it; the temperature of the room rises and the dancefloor gets a little more crowded. The DJ Times cover story adds another layer of credibility to a career in steep ascension.

ENFERNO joins fellow DJ Times cover subjects - Q-BERT, MOBY, TOMMY LEE& DJ AERO, DANNY TENAGLIA, SASHA, KASKADE, GEORGE ACOSTA, JUNKIE XL and DEADMAU5, among others-in representing the modern face of deejaying.

Now celebrating its 20th year in publication, DJ Times is the international authority on the DJ industry, its technology and news. Published monthly and continuously since 1988, DJ Times is owned by Testa Communications and its sister publications include Club World Magazine, Sound & Communications, and Music & Sound Retailer. Testa produces the annual International DJ Expo, a convention now in its 18th year, as well as the annual "America's Best DJ" poll.

ENFERNO is represented exclusively by JOHNNY MARONEY of Moodswing360. For more information, contact EMILY TAN MEDIA RELATIONS at: (917) 318-3758, e-fax (646) 619-4907 or email [email protected].
