In previous years, Event Chairs Morris & Jaci Reid, Toni Braxton, Ciara and Nicolette Sheridan have helped to raise over $150,000 to support The Foundation's efforts to restore and sustain instrumental music education programs. For this summer's highly anticipated summer event, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation is partnering with VH1 Soul with the goal of raising over $200,000.

"For more than a decade, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation has taken the lead in restoring instrumental music education programs in America's public schools and raising awareness about the importance of music as a part of every child's complete education, says Paul Cothran, Foundation Executive Director/VP. Music making develops creativity, self-expression, discipline and focus, which carry over into other subjects. These skills are also crucial if our nation is to maintain its rich tradition of innovation."

This event continues to be hosted by Morris and Jaci Reid. Members of this year's Host Committee include: Aretha Franklin, Ashanti, Barbara K, Beyonce Knowles, Breeze, Charlie & Lauran Walk, Christina Norman, Danity Kane, Dirk Ziff, Ferras, Gordon Singer, John Sykes, John Varvatos, Jonathan Sheffer, Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland, Larry Cohen, Lorraine Bracco, Lyfe Jennings, Maroon 5, Michelle Williams, N.E.R.D, Paul Cothran, Richard Gay, Rick Krim, Robin Thicke, Ron Perelman, Sandra Lee, Sara Bareilles, Scott H. Rauch, Sheila C. Johnson, Solange Knowles, Stella Keitel, Susan Blond, Tamia & Grant Hill, Taryn Manning, Tom Calderone, Tyson Beckford and Wynton Marsalis.

In addition to Presenting Sponsors Harman Kardon and Mercedes-Benz, the charity fundraiser is sponsored by and in partnership with: EMM Group, Hamptons.com, Hamptons Magazine, JetBlue Airways, Jose Cuervo, Plum TV, Relevent, Snapple Antioxidant Water, VH1, VH1 Soul and Westin Rinehart.
