New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Audio Tactics Recordings) - Audio Tactics Recordings and the Sullivan Room is proud to present break-beat pioneer UBERZONE along with New York City recording artist WAVEWHORE on Friday June 6, 2008. Very special guests also include DJ BUTTERFACE, BETTY BOOM, EVA and MORGAN STONER. This unique weekend event will be a CD release party for UBERZONE's full-length album titled "Ideology" out now on Nitrus Records.

UBERZONE is the brainchild of southern California native Q (named after the gizmo-loving James Bond character). Like his namesake, Uberzone is a die-hard collector of all things electronic and has been collecting electronic-music gear since his early teens. Spin Magazine named Uberzone as one of the six producers to create "the biggest beats ever' and he has also been featured in the electronic music documentary 'Better Living Through Circuitry'.

His early singles, "Botz" and "The Freaks", released on taste-maker indie dance label City of Angels, were critically acclaimed club tracks that established Q as one of the leading American producers of break-beat music. These singles were charted consistently by DJs like Florida's DJ Icey and the UK's Adam Freeland, among others. His remixes of Sarah McLachlan, The Crystal Method and BT also established him as one of the biggest names in the American dance scene.

In 1999 he collaborated with Afrika Bambaataa "The Godfather of Hip-Hop" from Soul Sonic Force on the electro breaks driven anthem "2 Kool 4 Skool" and has also toured extensively with acts such as The Crystal Method. His debut album "Faith In The Future" was released on Astralwerks in 2001 and was followed up in 2002 by "The Digital Mix" on Moonshine and the "Uberzone Y4K" mix CD on Distinctive Breaks. Uberzone's performance will showcase his digital mix which involves midi controllers, trigger fingers and small drum pads.

This event will also feature New York City resident WAVEWHORE, who has quickly built a reputation as one to watch in the international breakbeat community with releases on high profile record labels such as Broke, BreaksFM, Electrofly and BombTraxx. Wavewhore has been called a 'breakbeat master' by Liquid Todd (Sirius Satellite Radio) and 'one of the USA's finest breakbeat DJ/producers' by Jay Cunning (KISS FM London) while www.breakbeatonline.com described him as 'NYC's finest export since the Beastie Boys'. He began his career as a heavy metal guitarist performing in clubs while he was still in high school and his first electronic release dates back to 1992.

His cutting edge music has received high level support from many of the top names in the business including The Freestylers, Aquasky, DJ Icey and General Midi, as well as radio personalities such as Liquid Todd and Annie Nightingale (BBC Radio 1). Wavewhore's name is derived from his addiction to manipulating audio waveforms and he stands apart in his ability to produce a wide variety of styles within the breaks genre with quality results. Keep an eye out for his upcoming single titled "More Life" which will be available on Hardcore Beats later this year with remix duties from London UK-based Vent.
