NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Epic Records) - Epic recording artist Sara Bareilles's voice is not so little anymore. Little Voice, the highly anticipated debut album from singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles - which was released on July 3 - skyrocketed onto iTunes album chart at No.1. and made an impressive debut on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart at No 45. Praised by critics for its depth and honesty, Rolling Stone raved 'Bareilles' writing voice is uniquely her own.'

The album's unprecedented explosive sales at iTunes is amplified by news that Sara will be opening for American heartland singer/songwriter Jon McLaughlin on a road jaunt which kicks off August 27th at the Croc in Seattle and will cover 18 major cities across the U.S.

The road trip doesn't end there. Immediately following, Sara will head out on the road in support of Grammy winning rock band Maroon 5 on a string of fall tour dates starting September 29th in Detroit, MI. In addition, starting October 14th Sara will take the stage to open for Paolo Nutini.

Sara has recently made several national television appearances on such shows as The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, NBC's Today Show and the CW11 Morning Show.

The extraordinary Sara Bareilles is a mesmerizing artist- whose sound has been compared to Fiona Apple and Norah Jones - who grew up performing in her native Humboldt County with no formal training in either voice or piano. Much of Sara's adolescence was spent perched in front of a worn piano teaching herself chords and scribbling out simple melodies and lyrics. In 2003, Sara co-produced her first independent studio demo, "Careful Confessions,' which earned Sara a loyal grassroots following through touring. With word of mouth support and hypnotic live performances that leave fans hanging on her every word, Epic Records took notice and signed Sara to a record deal in April 2005.

Little Voice, - which was recorded in Los Angeles with renowned producer Eric Rosse (Tori Amos, Anna Nalick) - contains twelve songs that are stylistically acute, with fluid blends of pop and rock, as well as soul and jazz that reveal Sara's incredible vocal prowess. The first single off Little Voice is the addictive pop track, 'Love Song' which was as Sara says, 'born from being kick you in the crotch mad.'

You can catch Sara Bareilles (pronounced Bar-rell-is) performing 'Love Song,' and other favorites from Little Voice on the Jon McLaughlin tour through September 27th, then with Maroon 5 and Paolo Nutini on dates listed below. For more information please go to www.sarabmusic.com.
