PHOENIX, AZ. (Top40 Charts/ Casa - Center For Prevention Of Abuse & Violence) - On Sun., April 15, contemporary blues icons Keb' Mo' and Joe Bonamassa will perform an exclusive one-off benefit concert at Phoenix's premiere showplace the Dodge Theatre as a major fundraiser for Phoenix-based non-profit agency Casa - Center For Prevention Of Abuse & Violence (Casa). Coinciding with National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the benefit also encompasses a VIP pre-show reception and post-concert dinner with the artists for top-tier sponsors. It's an extraordinary opportunity to experience two stellar artists in an intimate setting, and to support Casa's invaluable prevention and essential counseling services for children, teens, adults and families impacted by all forms of abuse and violence.

The concert, produced by Live Nation, is set for 7PM. 3X GRAMMY winning singer-songwriter Keb' Mo', whose most recent album was 2006's GRAMMY-nominated Suitcase, headlines the double bill. Blues-rock guitar virtuoso and Blues Foundation board member Joe Bonamassa, whose latest CD is 2006's You & Me, opens. Tickets go on sale Mon., Mar. 19, 10AM; reserved $40 seats are available at livenation.com, Dodge Theatre Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. To charge by phone, call 480.784.4444 (Phoenix Metro area) or 520.321.1000 (outside Phoenix area).

For those wishing to further support Casa, there is also the opportunity to purchase $125/person Silver Sponsorships, which in addition to premium reserved seating, include a 5:30PM pre-show reception. The benefit's top-tier ticket is the $1,000/person VIP Gold Sponsorship, which adds onto the Silver level's amenities with parking privileges and an intimate post-show dinner with Keb' Mo' and Joe Bonamassa featuring a four-course gourmet meal with wine pairings from star Chef Christopher Gross of Christopher's Fermier Brasserie. For further information and to purchase limited quantity Gold and Silver sponsorships (and special $20 student tickets), contact CASA directly at 602-254-6400 or [email protected].

Stephanie Orr, Casa's Executive Director for almost 20 years, said, "We're grateful to all the wonderful, talented people who've come together to create this amazing evening to support our work and our mission. Our hallmark at Casa is that we provide 80% prevention and 20% counseling - most agencies are the reverse. We believe in proactively preventing all forms of abuse and violence - emotional, physical, verbal and sexual - and this event allows us to communicate our message to so many more people and work towards a less abusive and less violent world."

Founded in 1973, Casa has served over 600,000 individuals in Maricopa County through its groundbreaking work, and provides some of the longest running social service programs in Arizona. As it's evolved since its inception, Casa's inspiring vision revolves around, "creating and nurturing a culture of nonviolence where abuse and violence are no longer quietly ignored or tolerated in American society." The April 15 benefit with Keb' Mo' and Joe Bonamassa was made possible with the support of concert sponsors Pamela Covella, an attorney with Phoenix's Combs Law Group and Michael Jensen, founder/CEO of L.A.-based Jensen Communications, Inc.
