LOS ANGELES (Army Of Anyone Official Website) - After a brief break for the holidays, ARMY OF ANYONE will return to the road in January to headline the 12th annual winter SnoCore Tour with Hurt and another act TBA supporting. The 6-week trek-which launches January 18 in Houston-includes a February 1 performance at New York's Bowery Ballroom.

Meanwhile, ARMY OF ANYONE-vocalist RICHARD PATRICK, formerly of Filter; guitarist DEAN DELEO and bassist ROBERT DELEO, ex-Stone Temple Pilots; and drummer RAY LUZIER-continue to garner critical acclaim for their recently-released self-titled debut album (Firm Music), while their first single "Goodbye" continues to build at radio. "Goodbye" is currently No 3 and climbing on the Active Rock chart.

Elsewhere, in a review of the band's November 21 show in Boston, Christopher John Treacy of the Boston Herald praised their live performance, noting: "Playing only its second-ever gig to a packed house at the Paradise on Tuesday, the powerhouse four-piece demonstrated musical chemistry most bands only dream of...its original material blended seamlessly with revisited STP and Filter selections, including 'Vasoline,' 'Hey Man, Nice Shot' and 'Piece of Pie.'...Bassist Robert DeLeo and his brother Dean, both former members of STP, seemed invigorated by Patrick's enthusiasm, which was barely contained by the small Paradise stage...An unplugged reading of 'A Better Place' revealed Army of Anyone's inner STP; the melody at the tune's core made clear just how much the DeLeo brothers crafted STP's sound, which they are putting to good use elsewhere. After covering Led Zeppelin's 'Rain Song,' Army stormed through the glam 'Big Bang Baby,' and the near riot-inducing 'Welcome to the Fold,' with drummer Ray Luzier pummeling away as if his life depended on it. (November 23, 2006)"
