London, UK (Sony BMG Music Entertainment UK) - Thank you to everyone who submitted a question for Lemar. We're pleased to post the first batch of answers. We'll be posting further answers next week so make sure you check back!

1. Are you doing a tour this year if yes where and when?
Jane Harling

Hi Jane, I am going to be doing a few dates this Autumn, around the release of my new record, but my main tour will be next spring I think. I will be playing all over the UK, so hopefully will see you at a show!

2.You are recording your third album now, what kind of sound people, your fans and Music Lovers can expect, more Soul, R&B, a hint of rock?
Sylvianne

The new record is coming along great, I'm so excited about it! It is distinctly a Lemar record, but I feel that it is a really big step forward. It has a real contemporary soul feel. There will be an exciting guest appearance or two on it, so watch this space!

3.I'd like to know if your song "call me daddy" has been inspired by a real story?
Prieto Martha

The song was inspired by something that happened to a close friend of mine, and I wanted to express it in a song. It had a big impact on their life, and it was kind of my way of expressing their emotions.

4.If you could relive just one of your gigs, which would it be and why?
Angie Menary

Playing Hammersmith Apollo in London, in front of all my friends and family for the first time was amazing, but I really love touring, and every gig is unique and special in its own way.

5.Where have you got your inspiration from for the new album?
Faye

Musically, I try not to take much notice of mainstream trends, and what is getting a lot of play on the radio. I want my next record to be a classic sounding record, not one that is trying to be fashionable, but will be forgotten about quickly. And my inspiration comes from all areas of my life really.

6.How is the new album going and when will it be out?
Pamela

The new album is going great thanks Pamela! We are about half way through right now, and I am so excited, I can't wait for you guys to hear it. I have pulled out all the stops to make sure that this is my best record yet.

7.What is your favourite album at the moment?
Nicole

I really love the album St. Elsewhere by Gnarls Barkley. Crazy is a great track, but the whole album is fantastic.

8.Any plans for any duets?
Peanut

Funny you should say that Peanut, but I'm working on one right now! I can't tell you anymore, but get the new record when it comes out, and you'll find out.

9.I was wondering, since you did the cover of Marvyn Gaye's 'Lets stay together' on your first album Dedicated. And you did a cover of the Darkness 'I believe in a thing called love' on your second album Time to Grow, will there be another cover track on your next album?
Lila

It is looking unlikely at the moment, but you never know!
