The Dead Krazukies Go Hard With New Cover Track "Maniac" Out April 14, 2023
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Dead Krazukies go hard with new cover track "Maniac" - the French melodic skate-core band takes on a classic, announces new heavy metal inflicted album "From The Underworld" - mastered at Blasting Room.

Exactly 40 years since the original release, "Maniac" gets a heavy makeover. The Dead Krazukies go bold and go hard by teasing their new album with the release of a skate-punk cover of the pop classic.

"Maniac" will be released on April 14 on all digital platforms.

Think Pennywise, Rise Against, and a bit of Anti-Flag and you've got The Dead Krazukies! Since 2010, the band from Hossegor brings out a concentrated blend of catchy melodic punk, raw energy and 90's surf and skate culture.

In 2016, their first self-produced album, "The Northern Belle" was a great success and directly established the group in the European skatepunk scene. After a lot of shows and festivals, they ended up in 2019 opening the Punk in Drublic Festival with legendary Bad Religion and NOFX on the French date of the event.

In November 2020, the band released "Icarus" during the pandemic through SoundSpeed Records (USA), SBAM Records (Europe) and Punk&Disorderly (Canada). The album was a hit and quickly sold-out.

Fueled by troubled times, the frustration of not touring and the musical path already initiated by Icarus, The Dead Krazukies is back with a brand new piece of raging tunes, "From the Underworld," due out on June 16 2023, through SBAM Records and Kicking Records.

The 10 songs, mixed by Christian Carvin and mastered by Jason Livermore at the Blasting Room, oscillate between So-Cal Punk Rock and Old School Metal with no fear to explore new territories.

At the same time surprising and bold, From The Underworld won't leave you indifferent. The Dead Krazukies intends to defend this album on stage and take everything in its wake.

About the new album "From The Underworld" by Matt Speer:
From their heavy-set Punk-Rock to their energetic and soaring Skate Punk, The Dead Krazukies' brand of Punk-Rock is powerful, passionate and fearless.

They are the cannons of French melodic punk. They do not hold back and have no reservations about the power of their music matching their witty, straight-to-the-point lyricisms. This has always been the way of The Dead Krazukies but now, in 2023, they are wound tighter and fighting harder, ready for what comes, From The Underworld.

In the few years that have passed since 2020's Icarus, the band's conviction has beyond doubled, with From The Underworld taking it's Skate Punk-centric foundation and fully realising the vigour Icarus and The Northern Belle only began to explore.

The Dead Krazukies on From The Underworld may be the same five-limbed beast as before, but their temperament now is an even greater cocktail of primal yet intelligently delivered rage.

'The Fallen and The Ferryman' is a hybrid of angular clout, fierce refrains and symbiotic melody in a constant contrast, collectively teasing you with what's to come. The Dead Krazukies masterfully orchestrate their changes in genre with a carefree confidence on this latest. Be it the groove-laden bounce of 'Captain Crust' and 'Darth Walnut' or the 1:23 blast of Skate Punk in 'The Mindfucker', onward to the playful Dub of 'Make Babylon Great Again'. There is no debate here, you are unable to move until this album is finished with you. Further in, 'The Wanderer' teases Metallic Hardcore before 'Silent March' realises such a dream ahead of its natural flow back into the melodious prowess so powerfully natural to The Dead Krazukies.

Everything that has given this band its presence in the European Punk scene has led to this moment and they stand ready and waiting to unleash this new phase via SBAM and Kicking Records.
