SYDNEY, Australia (SONY BMG Autralia) - Incubus will have three brand new songs on the soundtrack to upcoming action-thriller 'Stealth', starring Jamie Foxx, Josh Lucas and Jessica Biel.
'Stealth' director Rob Cohen (of 'The Fast And The Furious' and 'XXX' fame) personally chose Incubus to appear on the soundtrack to his hot new action-thriller. The guys had never recorded songs specifically for a soundtrack before, but the process gave them a whole new perspective on the writing process.
"We're used to writing a song that brings the thoughts and images in your head to life," says singer Brandon Boyd. "Writing for a very specific scene is tricky because you want to come up with thoughtful lyrics that touch on the movie but don't come off cheesy."

Working with renowned producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Korn, Rage Against the Machine), Incubus recorded 'Admiration,' 'Neither of Us Can See' and 'Make a Move'. Featured in the US trailer for 'Stealth', 'Make a Move' finds Incubus in classic form.
"We don't write new music on the road so we hadn't written a shred of new music before we got together for these songs," Brandon says. "We wrote the first song 'Make a Move' really quickly. It's fun and bouncy, but still thoughtful. It reminds me of some of our older songs."

'Neither of Us Can See,' a duet with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Chrissie Hynde, will play over the movie's closing credits. The inspiration to use two singers - this is Brandon's first duet - came early in the writing process. "When we were conceptualizing the song, it became obvious that we needed two voices to capture the different facets of this song," he says. "Chrissie came in and added another dimension to the song."
