Electro-Pop Duo TGC Share Their Brand New Single Secret Wedding!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Electro-pop sensation TGC (The Green Children) have released their new single 'Secret Wedding' on 12 December via Illuminated City. Previous single 'Echo' was premiered on Wonderland Magazine, and the duo's sultry summer hit 'Symbiotic', has already accumulated over 1.8 million hits on Youtube, in the lead-up to their imminent third album. Their self-produced debut album, Encounter (2010), was nominated in the first round of voting for a US Grammy Award in two categories; Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. TGC have garnered substantial support from the likes of Rolling Stone Magazine, Huffington Post, Clash Magazine, Music Week, FGUK Magazine, and Youtube channels SuperbLyrics and Mr Deep Sense, and have racked up over 60 million YouTube views.

Both Marlow Bevan and Milla Sunde (from England and Norway respectively) grew up in small magical towns, so have always felt that storytelling was a natural part of their upbringing. Upon meeting at Sir Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, they discovered a mutual love for sci-fi and fantasy movies, and their creative compatibility was apparent after penning just one song together.

They have gone on to record with Universal Music Group and Jackson Browne's Spinside Records, collaborated with acts such as Paul Oakenfold, Moguai, Downlow'd, M4SONIC and Foster The People, and play the stages of Summerfest, The Viper Room and The Roxy on the Sunset Strip. Their philanthropic undertakings include the establishment of The Green Children Foundation, work alongside Nobel Peace Prize winner Prof. Muhammad Yunus, support of the SOS Children's Village, The Planetary Society (Bill Nye) and the charity New Alternatives through a concert benefiting LGBT+ homeless youth.

'Secret Wedding' is an engrossing, deeply atmospheric offering, helmed by Milla's powerful delivery of simple, pointed lyrics. A deviation from their usual vibey electro-pop sound, this power ballad creates a collage of richly visceral moments - some fleeting, some everlasting. The track's centre of gravity lies in Milla's vocals, her voice as elegant and expressive as ever. Drawing influence from artists such as Prince, Röyksopp and Enya, TGC's atmospheric sound can be likened to the music of Electric Youth, Chromatics and Blue Hawaii.

Milla comments on the track': "Call me a fool, but I'm hopelessly in love with being in love. I will always be a Juliet."
