The Neverclaim's First Album In Two Years 'The Joy,' Releases July 17
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Acclaimed pop/rock/worship band The Neverclaim announces the July 17 release of its first full-length studio album in two years, The Joy, from Radiate with The Fuel Music distribution. Pre-orders for the album can be placed now through the band's fan-driven PledgeMusic campaign, which has reached over 119% of its goal.

Produced by GRAMMY nominated, two-time Dove Award-winning Producer of the Year Ian Eskelin, The Joy has already sparked the free-spirited, rock 'n' roll-riffing, gang-vocal'd lead single and title track along with the new clarion call for believers, "Jesus Is," which goes for adds at radio July 10.

"We face a culture that tries everything possible to make Jesus seem irrelevant, as if He is nothing more than a fairytale or a legend of the past," says The Neverclaim frontman Jeremiah Carlson of the impetus behind "Jesus Is." "Those of us who know Christ, know He is not just some simple religion, but the living God who not only was, but is and is to come. He lives inside of us and has changed us completely with His love and nothing can change that."

In addition to "Jesus Is," another brand new track from The Joy, "Mighty Men of God," is drawing kids of all ages to talk about why their father is a "mighty man of God." Written to stir the hearts of men who are tired of seeing families torn apart by culture, divorce, pornography and more, the song is gathering acclaim going into this Father's Day. With the song having recently been featured by NewReleaseToday.com, Worship Leader, PraiseCharts, Church Leaders, HearItFirst.com, All About Worship and more, The Neverclaim has also joined other prominent figures, such as Tony Dungy, Kirk Cameron and Darryl Strawberry, in support of The Fatherhood CoMission. This organization is using "Mighty Men of God" as an anthem for its "Honor Your Father Today (Exodus 20:12)" challenge.

"Now more than ever we need men to take a stand on Christ's love and truth," says Carlson. "The best way to do this is to live a life that reflects His love for his church to our families. If we think being mighty means being dominate, then we miss the target. The mightiest of men are the greatest of servants with the humblest of hearts. They lead their families and peers with authentic love and speak truth loudly by the way they live."

One of the reasons Carlson is so passionate about this subject is because, as he recently revealed in a Houston Chronicle feature story, he was abused as a child and had contemplated suicide before the power of Scripture got ahold of him and his whole family. Carlson is now a husband and father to two girls (with a new baby boy on the way), and is wholly committed to being a godly father.

Also featured on The Joy is the infectious, worshipful choruses of "Rules And Reigns," "Everything" and "Our God Wins." In the spirit of John 16:33, Carlson says, "Almost every song on The Joy is centered around the joy of the Lord as our strength—our identity in Christ and the victory that's won in Christ. Not that we shy away from the reality that living in a broken world affects all of us, but despite our hardships, we have access to a greater reality that fills our hearts with joy. We believe people are hungry for authentic joy, a joy that is not based on circumstances, but on the fact that God is for us, so nothing can be against us."

Sharing this message, fan favorites and new music on the road, The Neverclaim plays about 150 concerts yearly, and has toured with Third Day, Skillet, Newsboys, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Kutless, Tenth Avenue North, Matt Maher, Phil Wickham, Jamie Grace and more. Having finished a solid year of touring with Sanctus Real, The Rock & Worship Roadshow and numerous festivals and events like Walt Disney World's Night Of Joy, all the latest tour dates and more can be found at www.theneverclaim.com, and at the band's social sites:

About The Neverclaim:
Portland, OR based band The Neverclaim, consisting of Jeremiah Carlson (lead vocals), Chuck Hill (bass), Mitchell Maldonado (guitar/keys) and Beji George (drums), soared onto musical radars with 2012's Revival being named a top 10 Worship Leader Magazine album of the year. The recording was followed by the band's self-titled Essential Records debut in 2013 climbing all the way to No. 34 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers Albums chart and earning a top 5 worship album of the year nod from NewReleaseTuesday.com. Seeking to see lives transformed by experiencing God and His love and having gone through a series of personal and professional refining, The Neverclaim returns with The Joy July 17, 2015.
The Neverclaim also partners with One Child Matters (www.onechildmatters.org), a child sponsorship organization helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of children in poverty-stricken areas of the world. Through its ministry programs, children receive food, education, medical aid and hope in Jesus Christ.
