Born Cages Premiere Video For "Rolling Down The Hill" Exclusively At Yahoo! Music
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indie rockers Born Cages have premiered the video for their new song "Rolling Down The Hill" exclusively at Yahoo! Music (https://music.yahoo.com/blogs/music-news/born-cages-premiere-video-for--rolling-down-the-hill--160743686.html). The video was directed by Cara Marceante. The track is also available for purchase digitally on iTunes HERE and as a 7-inch with an exclusive B-side track "Fuel To The Fire" available here borncages.merchnow.com.
"The song seems to be buzzing everywhere you look," says Hype Machine blog Kick Kick Snare. "Rolling Down The Hill has already caught the ear of numerous major radio stations across the country as the band toured this fall in support of the new single. The song has also made its way onto television, having been featured on The MLB Network. A remix by German producer Glastrophobie hit #2 on Hype Machine's popular remix chart. Born Cages just wrapped up New York City's CBGB and CMJ Festivals, where they were named Top 5 Acts to watch at both.
Last year Born Cages released The Sidelines EP on Washington Square, an imprint formed by Razor & Tie. Vice Noisey describes the band's music as a "blend of 80s-influenced synth/guitar work and modern pop-rock sounds" and Filter called the EP "Spellbinding." Blackbook raves, "More than a decade after the riff-heavy heyday of The Strokes, The Vines, The White Stripes, The Hives, and many other bands that put the word "the" before a plural noun, we may be ready for another bout of ripping revivalism... savage four-piece Born Cages, certainly makes that argument."

Born Cages will release their debut full length album I'm Glad I'm Not Me in early 2015. The album was produced by Jon Kaplan (Cage The Elephant) and Olivier Straus (Arctic Monkeys, Metric, Matt & Kim) at Mission Sound in Brooklyn, NY.

Lead singer and guitarist Vlad Holiday formed Born Cages in 2011 and the group dove head-first into New York City's eclectic indie rock movement. He is joined Dave Tantao on drums and Matt Maroulakos on bass. The band has received nods from the likes of Rolling Stone, MTV.com, FILTER and Noisey and they have shared bills with a bevy of acts such as Har Mar Superstar, Gold Fields, Said The Whale and Royal Teeth. They were even handpicked by Guns N' Roses to be the sole support band on two sold out GN'R club shows.
