BURBANK, CA. (Warner Bros. Records/Reprise Records) - Things are starting to get a little out of control in The Used's world at the moment, and as long as no one gets hurt, they love every moment of it!

Wednesday, in Michigan, things really began to heat up as suburban Detroit police had to move quickly to quell a potential riot at The Used's in-store appearance in the city of Utica. Hundreds and hundreds of fans gathered early to see the band appear at Rockabilly's record store. The in-store was forced to change locations to a larger, more accommodating venue for the plethora of fans that turned out to see the band. Despite the problem, and location change, the in-store proved to be very eventful for the one thousand plus fans that had a chance to meet the band, share some stories and get their autograph. All this, and the band is only into the second day of promo for their new album "In Love In Death!"

On Monday, the band performed a scorching rendition of their new single and radio smash "Take It Away" on Jimmy Kimmel Live. It was a huge success, which saw the show having to turn away over 2,300 fans who could not get in. After the performance, the band celebrated the release of their new album "In Love In Death" with a record release party in Hollywood that saw members of Story Of The Year, My Chemical Romance, Letter Kills, Lostprophets, Hot Hot Heat, Avenged Sevenfold, Joseph Hahn of Linkin Park and more in attendance.

On Tuesday, "In Love In Death" was released into the music marketplace and the band began their cross-country promotional tour that hit Detroit today. The trek features live performances as well as in-store appearances in different cities across the United States. The Used promo juggernaut continues this week with appearances in New York City and their hometown of Salt Lake City!

The Used's headlining tour of North America begins on October 9. The band will also make an appearance on Late Show With Conan O'Brien on November 11.
