Biography
The Poxrucker Sisters (formerly Poxrucker Menscha) are an Austrian band of new folk music, mainly pop music in Mühlviertel's makes dialect. The three sisters formed their band in 2008 and since then tours throughout Austria. In 2014 their album Poxrucker Sisters reached a position in the Austrian album charts, where it landed right on the seventh place at home on 25 April 2014 but then again quickly disappeared from the charts to find back in the charts in late summer. Their first single Glick (dt. For luck) rose 19 September 2014 in the Ö3 Austria Top 40 and ranked it at No 62. The Sisters trio is from the Vienna-based agency Hoanzl marketed their music label GECO.
